Who Are UK Author Promotion?
We are a UK-based literary community created to bring authors, readers, book clubs, venues, and trusted book-related businesses closer together. Our goal is simple: to help writers gain visibility, help readers discover new books, and build a stronger, more connected literary community across the country.
What We Do
We offer authors a platform to showcase their work directly to readers through profiles, interviews, and promotional opportunities. We also work with venues to create exciting new book signing events, help readers find their next great read, and provide a space where book-related businesses can reach their target audience.
Our Main Projects
Since starting just over a year ago, we have worked on several key projects designed to support authors. These include the Yorkshire Authors Directory, our FREE monthly magazine, and our upcoming Reading Roadshow and Grand Launch event in London.
Yorkshire Authors Directory
Our first major directory project, specifically supporting writers across Yorkshire. This serves as a model for our national expansion, highlighting the incredible talent found within regional literary communities.
UK Author Promotion Magazine
Our free monthly digital magazine features author interviews, book reviews, industry news, and event highlights. It currently has over 800 subscribers and continues to grow every month, providing a direct link between writers and readers.
Author Interviews
We believe every author has a story beyond their books. Our interview series gives writers the chance to share their journey, their process, and their passion with our community of readers.
Book Clubs and Reading Groups
We support book clubs by connecting them with new authors and offering unique reading opportunities. Whether you are a small group or a large national club, we help bring fresh voices to your discussions.
The UK Author Promotion Reading Roadshow
Launching in 2026, our Reading Roadshow takes literature out into the community. We will be visiting venues across the UK with book signings, 'Meet the Author' events, and pop-up literary festivals.
Grand Launch
On Saturday 11th July 2026, we will officially celebrate our Grand Launch with a Mega UK Book Signing Event at The Big Penny Social in London. This will be an incredible opportunity for authors and readers to meet in person at one of the UK's most exciting event spaces.
