UK Author Promotion Grand Launch at Oulton Hall, Leeds

Sunday 23 August 2026Oulton Hall, Rothwell Lane, Oulton, Leeds, LS26 8HN

There are launches, and then there are moments that feel like the beginning of something much bigger.

On Sunday 23 August 2026, UK Author Promotion will officially open its doors with a very special Grand Launch Event at the magnificent Oulton Hall in Leeds, a setting that feels perfectly suited to books, conversation, imagination and celebration.

This is not just another author event. It is the start of a growing literary community designed to bring UK authors, readers, book clubs, reading groups and book lovers together in one place.

For authors, this is a chance to be part of something from the very beginning.

Authors, this is your invitation

If you are an author reading this, now is the time to get involved.

We are currently offering a limited number of Founding Member places, created for authors who want to be there at the start and benefit from a greatly reduced membership price.

There were 25 Founding Member places available.

4 have already been taken.

That means there are only 21 places left.

Once they are gone, they are gone.

Becoming a Founding Member is not simply another cost. It is a small investment in your visibility, your author platform and your future reach. UK Author Promotion has been created to help authors be seen, discovered and supported, not just online, but through real events, author pages, interviews, listings, book promotion opportunities and a growing reader-focused community.

Independent and self-published authors work incredibly hard. You write the book, edit it, publish it, promote it, post about it, talk about it and carry the weight of getting it noticed. UK Author Promotion exists to help make that journey less lonely and far more visible.

Our aim is simple: to create a place where UK authors can stand together, promote each other, reach new readers and become part of a genuine literary network.

A day for readers too

Readers are warmly invited to join us at Oulton Hall for the launch.

Come along, meet the authors, discover new books, listen to interviews and enjoy the atmosphere of a beautiful venue filled with people who love stories.

There will be opportunities to chat with authors, ask questions, buy books, have them signed and perhaps discover your next favourite read before everyone else does.

Whether you enjoy crime, romance, fantasy, horror, historical fiction, memoir, poetry, children’s books or something completely different, this event is designed to bring books and readers together in a relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable setting.

A signed book is always something special. It is more than a purchase. It is a memory, a conversation and a connection with the person who wrote it.

A magnificent setting for a literary celebration

Oulton Hall gives this launch the sense of occasion it deserves. Set in impressive surroundings, it offers the perfect backdrop for authors, readers and book lovers to come together and celebrate the written word.

There is something rather fitting about launching a new author community in such a grand and memorable place. It gives the day a sense of importance, but also a sense of warmth. This is not just about books on tables. It is about conversations, introductions, shared ideas and the start of new opportunities.

We want people to leave feeling inspired.

Authors should leave feeling supported.

Readers should leave with new books in their hands.

Book clubs should leave with new names, new titles and new reasons to keep meeting.

Book clubs and reading clubs, we want you involved

Book clubs and reading groups are a vital part of the reading world. You keep books alive through discussion, recommendation and shared enthusiasm.

That is why UK Author Promotion is inviting book clubs and reading clubs to visit our website and sign up for a free listing. There are no hidden costs.

You can advertise your club, attract more readers and help people in your area find a friendly reading group to join.

Whether your club meets in a library, a café, a pub, a community centre, a bookshop or someone’s living room, we would love to help more readers discover you.

Reading is often seen as a solitary pleasure, but book clubs prove it can also be wonderfully social. They create friendships, spark debate and introduce readers to books they may never have picked up on their own.

UK Author Promotion wants to support that.

Why this launch matters

The UK is full of talented authors who deserve more attention. Many are writing exceptional books, but without the backing of a large publisher or major marketing budget, it can be difficult to reach the readers who would love their work.

That is where UK Author Promotion comes in.

We are building a platform that connects authors with readers, readers with new books, and book clubs with the wider literary community.

The launch at Oulton Hall is the first major step in that journey.

It is a celebration, but it is also a statement of intent.

  • We believe UK authors deserve more visibility.

  • We believe readers deserve an easier way to discover them.

  • We believe book clubs deserve support and promotion.

Most of all, we believe the literary community is stronger when people come together.

Join us from the beginning

If you are an author, do not leave it too late. With 4 Founding Member places already taken and only 21 remaining, this is your opportunity to join UK Author Promotion at a reduced rate and become part of something while it is still growing.

If you are a reader, come and meet the people behind the books.

If you are part of a book club or reading group, visit our website and add your club for free.

This is the beginning of a new literary community, and we would love you to be part of it.

Join us at Oulton Hall, Leeds, on Sunday 23 August 2026, and help us launch UK Author Promotion in style.
